Personal Settings

Personal Settings are the settings about you as a Klixey user. They travel with your account everywhere — across every workspace you own or are a team member in.

Quick answer

Open the Account menu from the top-right avatar of the app. You'll find your name, email, password, profile photo, and theme. These are yours — changing them doesn't affect any workspace.

This is the #1 source of confusion

"Personal Settings" and "Workspace Settings" are two different things. Personal Settings are about you. Workspace Settings are about your business. If you're hunting for the brand, the team, the plan, or the custom domain, those live in Workspace Settings, not here.

How to find it

In the top-right of the app, click your avatar → Account. You'll see tabs for Profile, Password, and Appearance.

What lives here

Profile

• Name — your first and last name. Used in the app and as your display name when you appear in a community as a workspace admin.
• Email — the address you sign in with and where Klixey sends emails about your account. Changing it triggers a re-verification — you'll get a new verification email and need to click the link before the change takes effect.
• Profile photo — your avatar across the whole app. Upload an image, then drag and zoom to crop it. JPG, PNG, GIF up to 2 MB.

Password

Change your password from here without having to use the "Forgot password" flow.

• Enter your current password (so a stranger can't change it from a session you left open).
• Enter your new password twice.

If you forget your current password, sign out and use Forgot password on the login page instead — Klixey will email you a reset link.

Appearance

Pick your theme:

Option	What it does
Light	Light theme everywhere in the app
Dark	Dark theme everywhere in the app
System	Follows your operating system's setting

Theme is per-device — you can have a light laptop and a dark phone if that's how you like it.

Delete my account

At the bottom of the Profile tab is the destructive panel: Delete my account.

This action:

• Removes your Klixey account.
• Requires your password to confirm.
• Signs you out everywhere.

A few things to know before you do this:

• Workspaces you own are affected by the deletion. Anyone on your team loses access until you reactivate or a new owner takes over.
• Workspaces you're a team member in are not affected — they belong to someone else's account. You're simply removed from the team.
• The action is not reversible from the app. If you change your mind, contact support@klixey.com quickly.

What doesn't live here

To stop you scrolling: the following are not in Personal Settings. They live in Workspace Settings.

• Workspace name
• Brand (colors, cards, text, fonts)
• Your Klixey plan and billing
• Team and invitations
• Custom domain
• Store name, slug, support email
• Integrations like Google Calendar

If you have multiple workspaces

Your Personal Settings are the same everywhere. You don't have a different name in one workspace and a different one in another — there's one you.

Each workspace has its own Workspace Settings, which are separate.
